By Royal Appointment presenter, Hannah Scott-Joynt says:
“A wonderful mix of lovely people and places, and some great stories, all with royal connections. My, at the time 4 month old baby came along for many of our filming days which added to the fun! I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
The series is the ninth TV commission for the Eastleigh based company since they formed in March 2005. kmb’s Creative Director, Kate Beal, says:
“The kmb team thoroughly enjoyed producing this fascinating series. We filmed in some amazing locations, met many brilliant people and gained a real insight into our history.
From the initial research stages we realised that our royal history has influenced not only our landscape and buildings… it has made an impact on our everyday lives from the products we buy to the way we are educated.
My favourite highlight of the series was filming with the Duke of York on one of his many royal visits. Seeing the preparation for his visit was something you don’t encounter every day. “
