The Market Selection Report is a free service for companies enrolled on Passport to Export* and offers the chance for a company to obtain a "quick and dirty" assessment of any new potential market. The Overseas Post will look at your company's product offering within the confines of the market and send you back a brief report on the possibilities you may reasonably expect. All Passport companies are allowed 3 free MSSR reports during their Passport programme.
*More than 3 or if a company is not on Passport and the report is chargeable - typically between £250 and £500
Experience teaches that MSSR reports from emerging markets actively seeking attention from UK exporters or the less visited markets such as Vietnam etc are sometimes very thorough and in these cases MSSR can be a really cost effective way of deciding whether to invest further time investigating export opportunities.
